Dit protocol beschrijft experimentele procedures karakteriseren van genoom-brede veranderingen in de niveaus van Histon posttranslationele modificaties (PTM) die zich voordoen in verband met de overexpressie van eiwitten ALS en Parkinson in zijn gekoppeld Saccharomyces cerevisiae modellen. Na SDS-pagina de scheiding, worden individuele Histon PTM niveaus gedetecteerd met wijziging-specifieke antilichamen via het westelijke bevlekken.
