Dit protocol is gericht op specifieke cellen in weefsels voor beeldvorming op de nanoschaal resolutie met behulp van een Scannende Elektronen Microscoop (SEM). Groot aantal seriële secties uit biologisch materiaal hars-embedded zijn eerste beeld in een lichte Microscoop te identificeren van het doel, waarna in een hiërarchische wijze in de SEM.
