Dit protocol wordt beschreven hoe retinale pigment epitheliale cellen (RPE) uit pluripotente stamcellen te produceren. De methode gebruikt een combinatie van factoren die de groei en de kleine molecules om direct de differentiatie van stamcellen in onvolwassen RPE in veertien dagen en volwassen, functionele RPE na drie maanden.
