A interacção entre os canais HCN e a sua sub-unidade auxiliar tem sido identificada como um alvo terapêutico em Perturbação Depressiva Major. Aqui, um método baseado em polarização de fluorescência para identificar pequenas moléculas inibidoras desta interacção proteína-proteína, é apresentada.
