High-definition transcraniële gelijkstroom stimulatie (HD-tDCS), met zijn 4x1-ring montage, is een niet-invasieve hersenstimulatie techniek die zowel de neuromodulatory effecten van conventionele tDCS combineert met een verhoogde focality.
