De vomeronasale orgaan (VNO) detecteert intraspecies chemische signalen dat de sociale en reproductieve informatie over te brengen. Wij hebben Ca2 + imaging experimenten met transgene muizen die G-CaMP2 in VNO weefsel. Deze aanpak stelt ons in staat om de ingewikkelde reactie patronen van de vomeronasale neuronen te analyseren om een groot aantal feromonen stimuli.
