Het doel van dit protocol is het isoleren van mononucleaire cellen die zich in de lamina propria van de dikke darm bevinden door enzymatische vertering van het weefsel met collagenase. Dit protocol maakt een efficiënte isolatie van mononucleaire cellen mogelijk, wat resulteert in een enkelvoudige celsuspensie die op zijn beurt kan worden gebruikt voor robuuste immunophenotypering.
