Här presenteras ett protokoll att efterlikna hänrycka av bakteriell-derived föreningar efter tarmbarriären brott. En låg subletala dos av lipopolysackarid injicerades systemiskt i möss, som övervakades under 24 h efter injektion. Uttrycket av pro-inflammatoriska cytokiner fastställdes vid flera tidpunkter i mjälten, levern och kolon.
