Glutathion-S-Transferasen (GSTs) sind Entgiftungsenzyme, die am Stoffwechsel zahlreicher Chemotherapeutika beteiligt sind. Die Überexpression von GSTs korreliert mit der Resistenz gegen Krebschemotherapie. Eine Möglichkeit, diesem Phänotyp entgegenzuwirken, ist die Verwendung von Inhibitoren.
