We beschrijven een protocol om operatief bloot en stabiliseren de lymfkliertest submandibulaire speekselklier voor intravital geschikt zijn met behulp van rechtop intravital microscopie. Dit protocol is gemakkelijk aan te passen aan andere exocrine klieren van het hoofd en nek regio van muizen en andere kleine knaagdieren.
