Este protocolo orienta pesquisadores e educadores através da implementação da abordagem de Resolução de Problemas antes da Instrução (PS-I) em uma aula de estatística de graduação. Descreve também uma avaliação experimental incorporada dessa implementação, onde a eficácia do PS-I é medida em termos de aprendizado e motivação em alunos com diferentes predisposições cognitivas e afetivas.
