Activering van latente mutaties met adenovirus-Cre in de borstklier ductale systeem een klinisch relevante metastatische borstkanker. Opneming van een YFP promotor maakt het volgen van distale metastatische tumorcellen. Dit model is nuttig om latente metastase, anti-tumor immuniteit, en voor het ontwerpen van nieuwe immunotherapieën behandeling van borstkanker bestuderen.
