Vertebrale stabilisatie is noodzakelijk voor het minimaliseren van variabiliteit en voor het produceren van consistente experimentele ruggenmergletsels. Met een aangepaste stabiliserende inrichting in combinatie met de NYU / Mascis slaginrichting, hebben we hier aangetoond dat de juiste apparatuur en procedure voor het genereren reproduceerbare hemi-contusive cervicale (C5) ruggenmergletsel bij volwassen ratten.
