Serbest yüzme sırasında ölçüm aksine, hangi doğal zorluklar ve sınırlamalar sunar, yüzücüler için kardiyorespiratuar fonksiyonun önemli parametrelerin belirlenmesi daha uygun ve tethered-yüzme yönetmek için daha kolay kullanılarak yapılabilir gaz değişimi ve ventilatör veri toplama ile hızla artan protokol.
