Wir beschreiben den Einsatz der optischen Vollfeld-Kohärenzmikroskopie als eine Methode zur qualitativ hochwertigen Beurteilung des Hornhautspenderstromas. Dieses Protokoll kann verwendet werden, um Merkmale zu identifizieren, die auf Gesundheit oder Krankheit hinweisen, und zielt darauf ab, das Screening und die Auswahl von Spendergewebe und damit die Ergebnisse der Keratoplastik zu verbessern.
