Combinado imagiologia óptica e μCT num modelo de rato com infecção de implante ortopédico, utilizando uma estirpe bioluminescente engenharia de Staphylococcus aureus, desde a capacidade de forma não invasiva e longitudinalmente controlar a dinâmica da infecção bacteriana, assim como a resposta inflamatória correspondente e alterações anatómicas na osso.
