La larve de la fausse teigne Galleria mellonella a récemment été créé comme un modèle in vivo pour étudier Legionella pneumophila infection. Ici, nous démontrons techniques fondamentales pour caractériser la pathogenèse de Legionella dans les larves, y compris l'inoculation, la mesure de la virulence bactérienne et la réplication ainsi que l'extraction et l'analyse des hémocytes infectés.
