Vi beskriver här en metod för biopsying olfactory slemhinna från råttor och människor näshålan. Dessa biopsier kan användas antingen för att identifiera molekylära avvikelser i hjärnans sjukdomar eller isolera multipotenta adulta stamceller, som kan utnyttjas för celltransplantation i djurmodeller av hjärnan trauma / sjukdom.
