In this video, we demonstrate an in vitro method for co-culturing DRG and cancer cells to study neurotropism and neural invasion.

Protocol

All procedures involving animal models have been reviewed by the local institutional animal care committee and the JoVE veterinary review board. 1. Isolating the Dorsal Root Ganglia (DRG) Use a stereomicroscope with 4X magnification. Position the spine on a non-adherent, non-absorbing platform (Telfa/nylon).
