We presenteren een compleet protocol voor postmortem diagnose van dierlijke hondsdolheid onder veldomstandigheden met behulp van een snelle immunochromatografische diagnostische test (RIDT), van hersenbiopsie bemonstering tot uiteindelijke interpretatie. We beschrijven ook verdere toepassingen met behulp van het apparaat voor moleculaire analyse en virale genotypering.
