Beschrijven we een methode om te kwantificeren van de samenvoeging van misfolded eiwitten. Onze gegevens-protocol lentivirale geïnduceerde stabiele cel lijn generatie, geautomatiseerde confocal beeldvorming en beeldanalyse van eiwit-aggregaten. Als een illustratieve toepassing onderzocht we het effect van kleine molecules biij SOD1 aggregatie op een tijd - en dosis-afhankelijke manier.
