Hier presenteren we een protocol voor optische detectie met hoge resolutie van chemische informatie rond geïmplanteerde medische apparaten met röntgen-geëxciteerde luminescentie chemische beeldvorming (XELCI). Deze nieuwe beeldvormingstechniek is ontwikkeld in ons laboratorium en maakt het mogelijk om implantaat-geassocieerde infectiebiochemie te bestuderen.
