Brain myeloïde cellen karakterisatie volgende slag kan worden uitgevoerd door stereology de optische fractioneerinrichting methode of een flowcytometrische analyse van hersenen leukocyten suspensies. Beide zijn nuttige technieken om een nauwkeurige fenotypische onderscheiding van de belangrijkste myeloïde cel subsets in de ischemische hersenen voeren.
