Hier wordt een protocol gepresenteerd voor de bepaling van de absorptie, translocatie en distributie van imidacloprid in tarwe onder hydroponische omstandigheden met behulp van vloeistofchromatografie-tandem massaspectrometrie (LC-MS-MS). De resultaten toonden aan dat imidacloprid kan worden opgenomen door tarwe, en imidacloprid werd gedetecteerd in zowel de tarwewortels als de bladeren.
