מטרת מחקר זה הייתה לגבש טכנולוגיות המאפשרות התמרה חושית מוצלחת גנים בתאים ראשי טבעי רוצח (NK). בתיווך לתוספי התמרה חושית lentiviral של האדם או העכבר הראשי NK תאים תוצאות יעילות גבוהה יותר של ביטוי ג'ין. שיטה זו של ג'ין התמרה חושית ישפר במידה רבה מניפולציה גנטית של תאי NK.
