Vi beskriver den raske isolasjon av primære murine type II alveolære epitelceller (AECII) etter flowcytometrisk negativ seleksjon. Disse AECII viser høy levedyktighet og renhet, og er egnet for et bredt spekter av funksjonelle og molekylære studier innen sin respiratoriske tilstander som autoimmune eller smittsomme sykdommer.
