Ett bärbart system som kan mäta steady-state visuella framkallade potentialer utvecklades och testades på 65 amatörrugbyspelare under 18 veckor för att undersöka SSVEP som en potentiell elektrofysiologisk biomarkör för hjärnskakning. Spelarnas baslinjer mättes inför säsongen, med omtester för tillförlitlighet, hjärnskakning och återhämtningsbedömning som genomfördes inom kontrollerade tidsperioder.
