De kwaliteit van muizen embryonische fibroblasten (MEF) wordt bepaald door de juiste spanning van muis zoals CF-1. Pluripotentie-ondersteunende MEFs en geconditioneerde media (CM), verkregen van deze moeten bevatten optimale concentraties van Activin A, Gremlin en Tgfβ1 nodig is voor de Activin / Nodal en FGF wegen naar co-operatief te behouden zelfvernieuwing en pluripotentie.
