Une méthode est décrite de sélectionner individuellement, manipuler, et les agents pathogènes d'image en direct en utilisant un piège optique couplé à un microscope à disque rotatif. Le piège optique offre un contrôle spatial et temporel des organismes et les places adjacentes aux cellules hôtes. La microscopie à fluorescence capture dynamique des interactions intercellulaires avec perturbation minimale pour les cellules.
