Microiontophoresis bringt Bewegung von Ionen aus einer Mikropipette in Reaktion auf eine Differenz des elektrischen Potentials zwischen den innerhalb und außerhalb der Mikropipette. Biologisch aktive Moleküle sind dabei im Verhältnis zur elektrischen Strom geliefert. Wir illustrieren Acetylcholin microiontophoresis in Verbindung mit Mikromanipulation an Endothel-abhängige Vasodilatation in der Mikrozirkulation zu untersuchen.
