We beschrijven hier een methode voor biopsying olfactorische slijmvlies van de rat en mens neusholten. Deze biopten kunnen worden gebruikt voor zowel het identificeren van moleculaire afwijkingen in de hersenen ziekten of isoleren van multipotente volwassen stamcellen die gebruikt kunnen worden voor mobiele transplantatie in diermodellen van de hersenen trauma / ziekte.
